Meet Our Team of Experts Who
Make It All Possible
Andrea Coston - Director/Owner
Hello, my name is Andrea Coston, I am a mother, a wife, a daughter, and a friend. I was still a child myself when I first learned I had a desire to be a teacher. My brother Kelly was my favorite (and only) student. I can remember how he progressed in school one year because of our playtime together, even then I was so proud of him. My desire to see children become “champs” instead of “chumps” is my driving force. In education and training, I have an Associate in Early Childhood Education, a level II Administrator’s Credential, a North Carolina Early Childhood Credential and lastly my diploma from 4 years of study in Christian Theology from attending Mount Zion School of Ministry in PA, where I did my 5th-year internship at a women and children’s ministry in New Jersey called, Camp Hope. At this camp, where women and children come to get their lives back on track through the teaching of God’s Word and learning how to have a relationship with Him, is where my passion for working with children really began to blossom. I was afforded many opportunities to go into various neighborhoods and bring God’s love through putting on plays, handing out free lunch, and fellowshipping with them so that Jesus’ love would be put into action. I adore children and learn so much from them and their resiliency, quick to forgive spirit, and unconditional love. They are my greatest joy. My passion to see them learn and grow, daily, never ceases nor does their ability to teach me and help me grow. I wouldn’t change it for anything! and I made the Lord a promise, if He gave me a chance, I would create a safe sanctuary for the children while creating peace of mind for their parents. Through Him, we’ve been successful. When you’re here, you’re family!
Lori Heaton
Hello my name is Lori Heaton. I've been involved in childcare for 22+ years. I'm a mother, grandmother and a wife. I love the Lord, my family and the children I get to serve daily in my preschool classroom. I enjoy showing up everyday ready to teach and explore with my enthusiastic children at the daycare (ages 3-5). I'm always so excited to watch them learn new things, it's the highlight of my day. I'm blessed and I look forward to meeting your child, and become Jesus' hands extended to assist you while you work. Thank you for the opportunity and for sharing your beloved children with us.
Taylor Scott
Hello! My Name is Taylor Scott. I am so blessed to get to work with God’s most precious gifts. As someone who was a child of divorce, I decided at an early age that family is so often taken for granted and that I wanted to be the absolute best parent I could be. For me, that meant living every moment of my life as if one day my own future children would walk in my footsteps. Every step in my life was carefully thought out with the famous parent quote “I hope that one day you have a child just like you!” ringing in my head. With all that being said, I have yet to have a child of my own but I am so excited to announce my new role as a stepmother to an amazing toddler boy. He helped me realize that my passion is not only to lead the youth but to allow them to lead me in return. As an adult, I sometimes forget what it’s like to be worry-free, innocent, and how to view things in an uncomplicated way. Our kids at God’s Lil Gifts have taught me so much and I continue to learn from them every day. My position as Cook and floater gives me the wonderful opportunity to work with all of the children.
Nicole Barker
Hello! My name is Nicole, and I am the new floater/sub at God’s Lil Gifts. I am a wife, mother, and grandmother. My husband, Mark, and I have 6 wonderful children. Our children range in age from 9 to 24. We have three fabulous grandsons, which makes my heart the happiest! I have been in childcare for over 20 years. Back in March of 2022, I thought I was wanting out of the childcare business, so I took a position delivering auto parts. It was a nice change, but I missed working to sculpt and mold all the babies. When your babies get dropped off at the center, they become my babies. Just like my own children, I will love them and guild them, for His glory. Looking forward to meeting and getting to know everyone! Thank you!
